UFCA Graduate Watch - Pre-Season Round-Up

In the first edition of UFCA Graduate Watch, we take a look at how our former players have performed for their respective clubs throughout pre-season.


Kevin Dos Santos scored for his new side Darlington FC in a pre-season friendly match against Sunerland U23s.


The exciting 21-year-old winger penned a one-year deal with the National League North club ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.

 

Striker Junayd Cassius-Gill opened his goalscoring account for his new club Tadcaster Albion last weekend.


The Brewers came out 4-3 winners over Ashton United, as they edge closer to the start of their 2021/22 Northern Premier League season.


Fellow UFCA Graduates Desmond Amponsah and Dan Hartley also featured, starting on the bench for Taddy.

 

Winger Sam Deacon started for Hull City U18s in a 1-0 pre-season victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers U18s on Friday.

 

Striker Manasse Mampala opened his goalscoring account for new club Carlisle United, in a pre-season friendly against Everton U23s.


The former Everton and QPR Academy forward also featured for The Cumbrians, in a 0-0 opening-day Sky Bet League Two draw.

 

20-year-old Harrison Hopper was named on the bench for National League North side York City, in a pre-season friendly against Notts County.


The midfielder spent last season with Rochdale AFC in Sky Bet League One, where he made two senior appearances, before joining The Minstermen ahead of the 2021/22 season.

 

Joe Wood started for Nostell Miners Welfare in their Northern Counties East Football League season opener.


The Miners began the season with a 2-0 victory over Armthorpe Welfare FC.

 

Winger Kevin Gonzalez started for Ilkley Town AFC in their North West Counties Football League opener against Ashton Town, which ended in a 3-2 defeat.
